Day One Agenda

Understand the history and benefits of mindfulness, and implications of embedding mindfulness practices in school

Engage in the mindfulness of breath, mountain pose, 6 movements of the spine, and the complete breath practice to build upon their own embodied yoga and mindfulness practice

Practice teaching others and giving and receiving feedback to improve upon their ability to practice yoga and mindfulness and integrate these practices into their daily work flow.

Engage in journal’s daily yoga, mindfulness, and breath practices independently with support and guidance of YMTP² teachers and resource portal of the YMTP² website.
