Breath Practice:

Balanced Breath

Benefits:

 

Increases calm in the body and mind

Helps decrease stress

Supports a balanced nervous system

Instructions:

 

Find a mindful seat.

Notice your normal breath.

Begin to inhale to a count of 3.

Exhale to a count of 3.

This would complete 1 round of balanced breath.

Continue with this count or increase the number to 4, 5 or 6.

When you have completed a comfortable number of breaths, return to your normal breathing.
