Yoga Warm-Up:

Ankle Rolls

Benefits:

 

Increases awareness of the movement of the ankles

Can help to improve walking

Works to strengthen the larger leg muscles

Instructions:

 

Find a comfortable seated position.

Lift one leg and bring the toes back to you to create a flexed foot.

Move the foot in a circular motion lengthening all the muscles around the entire ankle. Be sure to move in the opposite direction.
