Alternate Nostril Breathing

Improves lung function and respiration

Promotes overall well-being

Instructions:

 

Find a mindful seat.

Place your right thumb gently on the right side nostril.

Place your left thumb gently on the left side nostril.

Gently close the right side nostril and inhale through the left side.

Gently close the left side nostril and exhale through the right side.

Inhale through the right side nostril, gently close the right and exhale through the left side nostril.

This completes one round of alternate nostril breathing.

Continue with as many rounds as is comfortable for you.
