Understand the definition, history and benefits of mindfulness, and implications of embedding mindfulness practices in school
Understand the role of self-awareness in behavioral prevention, intervention and response
Understand the iceberg of behavior in order to more completely see the relationship between behavior, needs, and feelings
Understand the crisis cycle and identify specific interventions along the cycle to support student needs
Engage in various mindfulness practices to build upon their own embodied yoga and mindfulness practice and be able to model these practices to students.
